Sauna Telemetry — FinnLabs

Build goal: measure the sauna where a person actually experiences it, then turn raw temperature into useful session and heat-retention information.

The stack

ESP32 + MAX6675 + K-type thermocouple → ESPHome → Home Assistant → InfluxDB → Grafana.

What the dashboard can answer

How long does the sauna take to reach a chosen ready temperature?
What temperature did the session peak at?
How quickly does it cool after the heater is switched off?
How repeatable are sessions from day to day?
